Information for participants

Location

The institute is located on the seashore of the island of Corsica, 50 km north of Ajaccio, 2km south of Cargèse, a pleasant village of considerable charm and historic interest.

 

Application fee

Students: Fee: 0€  Lodging : 350€
Faculty and Industry:  Fee: 250€  Lodging : 350€

After July 14th: 100€ will be added to the fees

Housing, for the duration of the course only, will be arranged by the staff of the Institute following, as much as possible, your preferences. Apartments are also available for families.

For payment you can either:
- send an order form with the indication "YOUR NAME" THERAPEUTIC ULTRASOUND CARGESE by email to therese.godest@cnrs-dir.fr
(with a copy to therapeutic.ultrasound@loa.espci.fr )

- make a wire transfer (see attached IBAN), with the indication:
"YOUR NAME" THERAPEUTIC ULTRASOUND CARGESE

- send a check (with a letter including at least the indication:
"YOUR NAME" THERAPEUTIC ULTRASOUND CARGESE) at the following address:

The following bus transfers have been arranged :
Sunday, September 27th: 2:45pm at Ajaccio airport (arrival 3:45pm at Cargese village)

Thursday, October 1st: 4:30pm at Cargese village (arrival 5:30pm at the airport)

Friday, October 2nd: 9:30am at Cargese village (arrival 10:30am at the airport)


They correspond to the following flights:
- September 27th: departure Marseille Airport 1:35pm arrival Ajaccio Airport 2:30pm (for those who come from ISTU)
- September 27th: departure Paris Orly Airport 11:00am arrival Ajaccio Airport 12:35pm (for those who come from Paris)

- October 1st: departure Ajaccio Airport 6:55pm arrival Marseille Airport 7:50pm (for those who come back to Marseille)
- October 1st: departure Ajaccio Airport 6:50pm arrival Paris Orly airport 8:25pm (for those who come back to Paris)

- October 2nd: departure Ajaccio Airport 11:25am arrival Marseille airport 12:20pm (for those who come back to Marseille)
- October 2nd: departure Ajaccio Airport 12:50pm arrival Paris Orly airport 15:25pm (for those who come back to Paris)


A bus transfer will be organized on saturday if some of you stay on
site after the school

as soon as possible to optimize the transfers, and tell us wether you wish to take the bus of if you prefer to rent a car at the airport to be able to travel around.

Financial support

Limited funds will be available for partial support. Applicants for financial assistance should send a letter to the Organizing Committee, entitled "Application for financial support". This letter should include full name, age and professional position of the applicant, the amount requested and an explanation of why funding is needed. A support letter of the research advisor must be attached if the applicant is a student.
